rules for play 1. Deal every player five cards. Flip over one for discard pile. Leave the rest in Draw pile. 2. You can only discard up or down (numerically). Major Arcana are wild. 3. If a player can't play, they "lose a life" and choose a card to play face down in front of them. This card contributes to your score so choose wisely. Lose five lives and you're out. Flip over your lost "life" cards and that's your end score (according to scoring rules) 4. You can choose not to play and lose a life if you don't want to play a high-value card. 5. Ranking is cyclical: Aces are both below Twos and above Kings. Scoring 1. Last player standing gets a fifty point bonus (might have to change that value) 2. Each card is worth points equal to its rank. Major Arcana are double points. 3. Minor Arcana can score additonal points, this system follows poker rules with better hands being worth more points starting with a pair (pair = +5; two pair = +10; three of a kind = +15; etc). This is in addition to the points the cards are worth on their own.
