- ipre crew members + Harry; he's there as security; paladin or warlock perhaps?; human probably + Tom; there as a researcher, specifically for magic and spellcasting etc.; definitely a wizard; human probably + Neville; there as a researcher, specifically for plants and animals; he's a druid; halfling maybe? + Hermione; there as a researcher and chronicler; specifically she researches history and culture; she's a bard; tiefling? + Ron; the pilot; he's a ranger, good at navigation and tracking that kind of thing; half-elf? + Dumbledore; lead researcher, most interested in bond and soul magic (the kind that the ship runs off of); probaby a sorcerer; dwarf? + Sirius???; mechanic, built the ship, still not sure if I should replace him with someone else; elf probably - before the hunger ruins it all + Harry became MOD at a very young age (about four) - he accidentally made a deal with death - she said she would give him the power to protect himself from his relatives, he just had to become her child and do her bidding - Harry being FOUR was like 'you'll protect me and in exchange I get a mom? sign me up!' - he getes the Hallows as gifts from his new mom to help him protect himself - he's immortal, but the hunger can kill him bc it consumes all things including gods; so like, the only reason Death still exists is because Harry is part of the crew and the bonds/soul magic reforms him as long as they escape("you cannot die until you have finished your work, Harry") - his parents died from some illness unrelated to the hunger + Harry and Neville become friends before the mission, they grew up together; Harry is the one that convinces Neville to apply + - the stolen century + Grindelwald is the hunger - Dumbledore is the one who parlayed with him + that first cycle, Tom, Harry, and Neville learn parseltongue together from snakes (maybe it's a snake society instead of the entire animal kingdom?) - Salazar Slytherin is a snake king perhaps? teaches Tom parselmagic + Tom and Harry hate each other at first and it's A PROBLEM - Tom thinks Harry is an idiot and shouldn't even be on this godforsaken ship - Harry thinks Tom is a pretentious asshole (which he is) - eventually, they realized how similar they are and end up together, but it is a PROCESS. it takes like FIFTY YEARS. + that one cycle where everyone but Lucretia dies right at the beginning and she has to fight for her life for a year to make sure they all make it out? yeah, that but it's Tom; this is why he ends up being afraid of death - Harry is technically alive this entire cycle but he's imprisoned for being an 'abomination', he's the one that creates the distraction that allows Tom to escape; Tom has to leave him behind when he escapes on the ship, which means he does actually die to the hunger at the end of the year + later, Tom becomes a lich for various reasons (dumbledore doesn't know this happens bc he was parlaying with Grindelwald) - he's way more afraid of dying than he was before bc of his little year long vacation alone - he realizes that Harry is immortal and that one day when this is all over, he'll die and Harry won't and then Harry will find a new lover and THAT is unacceptable, only solution is to live forever - he uses Harry's soul as an anchor for this exact reason; when Harry dies, he'll be able to die too + they all learn how to artifice just like in taz and make themselves personal artifacts - the light of creation situation + Tom is the one that figures out that they can split the light but they all make one; they're (mostly) the horcruxes but like if they weren't all Tom's - the journal is made by Hermione (works like google; can ask it anything and it will know the answer) - the ring is made by Harry (enables someone to make illusions impossible to tell from reality; they can be touched, heard, talked to, etc.) - the snake is made by Neville (basilik named Nagini; turns living things to stone with it's eyes) - the cup is made by Ron (it becomes an infinite source of anything poured into it) - the diadem is made by Dumbledore (enables a person to read and control minds) - the locket is made by Tom (necromancy; the ability to possess people, raise the dead, etc) - the veil made by Sirius?? (a mirror that lets you teleport instantly to a destination; has unfortunate side effect of slowly driving people crazy with every use) + they scatter all the relics except the ring (which stays with Harry for obvious reasons; Tom wants it enough for the plan to work lmfao) and cause terrible tragedies and war, etc. - Dumbledore voidfishes them all + Neville wants to do something about Nagini; the destruction is too much for him, but Harry stops him and goes instead
