A shrine...?

Yeah, kinda. Basically. Probably. I've never actually seen a shrine; I just know they exist lmao.

I play a lot of minecraft and the way I play entails a lot of lore and building and fun stuff I wanna show off because I mostly play singleplayer and I'm not a youtuber.

Sweaty Minecraft

This is my main world and it's entirely singleplayer. This is the one I play on the most. I started it in 1.18. It's now in version 1.21.

The Swamp Witch: Beatrice Bogman

My current base in this world is a big (unfinished) custom tree located in a swamp.

The story goes that Beatrice Bogman is a witch that graduated from some big magic university (more on that later) and now is using her degrees in Arcane Biology and Ecological Alchemy to study slime in the wilderness. In her journal (more on that later), she talks about how she used magic to hollow out this tree and make it into her base of operations.

Bogman uses a journal to document her adventures and also has a book for her scientific findings on slme. I'll mention these journals occasionally and show screenshots of the entries as they're relevant.

The Necromancer's Tower

Nearby Bogman's tree, there are the ruins of a tower that Bogman supposes might have once been the base of a necromancer. She thinks this, of course, because this tower marks the location of my zombie farm. I have a few datapacks that enable me to use rotten flesh to make leather and to compost it for bonemeal, so that's what I use it for.

Bogman's entry on the tower.

The Abandoned Church

Not far from Bogman's tree, there is an abandoned church building that houses my skeleton farm. It's unfinished right now with no interior (I tend to switch between projects in the middle of them lol), but the plan is it's supposed to be a church for a warrior archer religion.

Bogman's entry on the church.

The Village Herm

To the west of Bogman's Tree on the edge of the swamp, there is a village. This village is called Herm. I'm still in the middle of revamping the village so it's very ugly right now lol. But I have built a few houses that I'm proud of (and others that need some work lol).

Farmhouse

Exactly what it says on the tin. It's three levels, but only one is furnished right now. The first floor is meant to be a boarding room for any farmhand that might be staying in town. The second (and main level) is a kitchen/dining area and a workroom. The third level is meant to be the bedroom for the farm owner. I built this off some concept art I found.

There's a farm sectioned off into different crops out front.

Apothecary & Apartments

A little store on the first floor with two apartments on the second and third floors. Also built based on concept art.

Cartographer's Shop

Shop on the first floor. I haven't filled the front window yet, but there are plans for that. Second floor is a studio apartment with an attic for storage. The attic is empty as of right now.

Smeltery

An auto smelter for my convenience. It's very simple in design and also fairly new, so I haven't gone of the decorating rounds with it. Herm is supposed to specialize in lumber and charcoal, so lore-wise, they're burning wood here.

Hachi Village

Multiplayer world with my girlfriend, Mari. The concept was we founded a village and as we expand it with buildings, we move in villagers to live there. We started it in 1.21.

The Hole

Another multiplayer world (also with my girlfriend), but this one is older. We started it in one of the 1.18 snapshots.
