so what is this?
Well. I have a lot of worldbuilding projects and behind-the-scenes stuff that I spend a lot of time on. This is a little bit of a showcase of those projects. Also, mind the noodles. They've broken containment.
Worlds
A peek at worlds built by me. Some made for the Bard, but others built for alternate universes seen through the orb.
Stellarworth
An international magic school located on a floating island.
Red Handed
The Bard's novel Red Handed has a working universe! These are the notes on the various countries and their histories, cultures, etc.
Mystic Tongues
Languages made by yours truly. Most often used by the Bard in her work, but also they're great fun for me too. Brief reminder that I am a wizard and not a linguist. I only care that they are usable enough for wizard spells and bardic songs, that is all.
Shora
Language used in the Shora mythology. It's been a side project for many years and has the vocabulary to match. I've changed the script and phonetics several times as I got older, but it's still mostly retextured English lol. That's okay because it sounds cool.
- Dictionary: all the vocabulary for the language romanized. (Currently very empty because I have to transfer it all from my various tomes and smartphone applications lol)
Dézikodô
Language used in the country Dézélîn in Red Handed. Very new and a bit more sophisticated than my other one. Made it for the Bard, so it's fairly limited in vocabulary because it's only meant to emphasize a difference in language between the characters in the novel.
- Dictionary: all the vocabulary for the language romanized. (Also very empty because I have to transfer it all from my various tomes and smartphone applications lol)
Forbidden Knowledge
Things that I approach more with a scholarly vision. As if I'm trying to document a science or write a textbook. Once you see it, you'll understand what I mean.
Stellarworth Magic System
- Alchemy: the rules on changing one thing to another
- Magic Alignment: a description on the different casting methodologies in magic
- Greenfolk: a subtype of magical creatures connected to nature
- Schools of Magic: different fields of magical study and what they entail
Shora Cultural Documentation
Just a documentation of what the stories would suggest about the wider Shora culture. What kind of values would they have based on the stories they told each other?
- Holidays: holidays that the Shora people would have celebrated
